In the spot, King Donny offers the “best deals across the multiverse” with zero down and 0% APR on any ride your favorite animal racer could dream of.
The cheesy promo leans into retro commercial aesthetics, with Donny delivering over-the-top pitches as if the CrossWorlds garage were a late-night used car lot. Fans are already rallying behind the character, praising his unshakable charisma and hilariously exaggerated delivery.
This continues SEGA’s long-running tradition of playful live-action marketing. From Sonic Mania Plus’ nostalgic salesman skit to Sonic Origins Plus’ exploding-bedroom ad and the recent Sonic X Shadow Generations “Gerald Robotnik’s Journal” teaser, these offbeat promos have become just as much a part of the modern Sonic experience as animated shorts and themed campaigns.
