Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat are joining SONIC PICO PARK! The two fan-favorites have been confirmed as playable characters in the upcoming cooperative puzzle game, with two official trailers introducing them ahead of its November release.
The announcement came on October 9 through the official SONIC PICO PARK account, expanding a roster that has been growing steadily since the game’s debut at Summer Game Fest earlier this year.
Silver and Blaze join Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Sonic Pico Cat and Cream & Cheese. Big has also been revealed as part of the game’s cooperative puzzles, appearing in certain stages where players can make use of his larger size.
As Sonic City reported in September, producer Shintaro Shimazu previously explained that the team was gradually revealing additional characters, following Takashi Iizuka’s request to include as many familiar faces as possible for Sonic’s 35th anniversary.
The latest reveal makes good on that promise, although Silver and Blaze’s individual abilities have yet to be detailed.
Developed by TECOPARK and published by PICO PARK Inc., SONIC PICO PARK combines the series’ cooperative puzzle-solving with familiar Sonic mechanics, including the Spin Dash, Rings, loops and springs.
The game supports two to eight players, both locally and online, with cross-platform multiplayer also confirmed. Players will need to work together to overcome puzzles and reach the goal, with every stage supporting the full range of available group sizes.
SONIC PICO PARK is scheduled to launch on November 12, 2026.
The game is coming to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. Fans can already add it to their Steam wishlist ahead of release.
