SEGA celebrated Sonic’s 35th anniversary during Summer Game Fest 2026 with a new look at what is coming next for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, along with the reveal of a new licensed indie game, Sonic Pico Park.

The latest trailer offered a first gameplay look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which is scheduled to launch in July 2026. Based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the pack will let players race as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo.

The TMNT Pack will also include new vehicles, courses, and music tracks inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, expanding Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ crossover lineup with all four Turtles joining the race.

SEGA also revealed the first look at the Avatar Pack, arriving in October 2026. The pack will add Aang and Katara as playable racers, alongside new vehicles, courses, Avatar-inspired music tracks, emotes, and more.

The trailer also teased what players can expect from the second year of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds content. SEGA confirmed that Season Pass Two will include six new DLC Packs, with the Godzilla DLC Pack and Evangelion DLC Pack among the content shown during the presentation.

While more details will be shared later in 2026, the early preview points to another major year of crossover content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, with larger-than-life characters, new courses, and more themed additions on the way.

Alongside the racing news, SEGA also announced Sonic Pico Park, a new licensed indie game developed by TECOPARK and published by PICO PARK in Japan.

Inspired by the hit indie game Pico Park, Sonic Pico Park will bring puzzle-driven cooperative action into the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. SEGA says fans can expect iconic Sonic characters, levels, special gameplay moments, and plenty of chaos built around the co-op format.

More details on Sonic Pico Park will be revealed soon, with the game currently planned for release in 2026.

Between Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ continued DLC roadmap and the announcement of Sonic Pico Park, SEGA’s 35th anniversary plans continue to show the franchise expanding through both major crossover content and smaller licensed projects.
