SEGA celebrated Sonic’s 35th anniversary at Summer Game Fest 2026 with new Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds DLC previews, including TMNT, Avatar, Godzilla, Evangelion, Season Pass Two, and the newly announced Sonic Pico Park.
SEGA says it plans to release four major full game titles from mainstay IPs during the fiscal year ending March 2027, while Sonic’s 35th anniversary is expected to support repeat sales, community activity, merchandise, and related promotions.
SEGA and animate are launching the first part of their year-long global collaboration with a Sonic the Hedgehog Only Shop, Fair, and Gratte campaign across Japan and overseas stores from June 6.
SEGA MUSIC’s first release, Forever Fast - 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog, will collect 22 vocal themes from Sonic Adventure through Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, including a newly recorded version of “Escape From The City” featuring Nathan Sharp.
Sonic Channel has released its June 2026 wallpaper, featuring Sonic in black-rimmed glasses as he proudly judges a chili dog topped with a Chaos Emerald flag.
