SEGA has announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be featured at the Esports World Cup 2025, taking place from July 7 to August 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fans attending the world’s largest esports event at Boulevard Riyadh City can look forward to a Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds exhibition match and an immersive real-world racing experience in collaboration with The Jameel Motorsport Park.
The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds show match is scheduled for August 5 from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM local time inside the venue’s Gaming Hall, offering a high-octane preview of the game’s competitive energy ahead of its September release.
Adding to the excitement, SEGA will host a limited-time kart racing collaboration with The Jameel Motorsport Park throughout the event. This unique experience features CrossWorlds-themed go-karts, tracks, and helmets styled after Sonic, Knuckles, Jet, and Shadow, giving fans the chance to feel like they’re racing inside the game itself.
A massive 4-meter Sonic statue will also be on display, bringing the world of CrossWorlds vividly to life.
This crossover between Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and real-world motorsports adds another layer to SEGA’s growing transmedia presence, reinforcing its commitment to global esports and entertainment innovation.
