Sega has provided an update on Sonic Rumble, revealing that it has been working with Rovio to address issues found during regional testing. The mobile multiplayer game is now expected to launch globally once improvements are finalized.
With Sonic Rumble still awaiting its global release, Sega has confirmed that many of the exclusive cosmetics—including skins, Chao, and stickers—will return once the game goes live worldwide.
Sonic Rumble’s global launch has been delayed to spring 2025, with the App Store listing a potential release date of May 8. SEGA is using the extra time to add new stages, character abilities, and more pre-registration rewards.
