Sonic Rumble Party Launches Sonic Symphony Event With New Skins and NiGHTS Return

Sonic Rumble Party is turning Toy World into a concert hall with a new limited-time event celebrating Sonic Symphony.

The Sonic Symphony Commemorative Event begins today, August 14, bringing new special missions and a collection of music-themed rewards inspired by the fan-favorite concert tour.

Leading the celebration are new Symphony outfits for Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, dressing the four characters for a night with the orchestra rather than their usual adventures.

SEGA’s promotional post specifically introduces Symphony Sonic and Symphony Amy, while Knuckles appears ready to put all that punching practice to good use on the timpani.

Tails is getting his own Symphony look too, while a tiny Conductor Chao rounds out the event’s themed rewards. Players will be able to work through special missions during the event to add the new items to their collections.

The event commemorates the Sonic Symphony live concert tour, which brought Sonic music to audiences around the world with a mixture of orchestral arrangements, rock performances, game footage, and music spanning multiple eras of the franchise. The main world tour ran from 2023 through 2025 after growing out of Sonic’s 30th anniversary symphony celebration.

And the concert celebrations are not the only familiar faces returning to Sonic Rumble Party.

NiGHTS and Reala are also making their way back to the Red Star Ring Shop for a limited time, giving players another opportunity to grab content from the game’s earlier NiGHTS into Dreams crossover.

The original crossover launched in February and brought NiGHTS into the game alongside Reala, Metallic Purple NiGHTS, Chrome NiGHTS, a Nightopian Buddy, the Alarm Egg, themed emotes, stickers, and other rewards. Metallic Purple NiGHTS and a Reala bundle were among the items offered through the Red Star Ring Shop.

So if you slept through that event the first time around, consider this your second chance to live the dream.

The Sonic Symphony celebration arrives during an already busy stretch for Sonic Rumble Party. Season 8 is currently underway through August 26, bringing its Armored Warriors theme, new stages, seasonal skins, and gameplay adjustments.

Players can also still take part in the Clean Sweep Stakes Event, which recently brought Raider Surge, Tangle, Whisper, Lanolin, Phantom Rider, and other IDW-inspired rewards into the game.

Meanwhile, Sonic’s live music celebrations are continuing outside the game as well. Sonic City previously reported on Sonic Live in Concert, the new 35th anniversary tour that follows in the footsteps of Sonic Symphony with performances planned across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, and beyond.

For now, though, you do not need a concert ticket to join this particular performance.

The Sonic Symphony Commemorative Event is available now in Sonic Rumble Party, with Symphony Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and their tiny Chao conductor ready to take the stage.

Just maybe keep Knuckles away from the expensive percussion equipment.
