Sonic Rumble Party is celebrating its first anniversary, and Mephiles has joined the party!
SEGA has launched a special event featuring rewards inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), new King Silver and Warrior Shadow skins, and free gifts for players.
The event began on November 5, 2026, exactly one year after the game’s global launch, and runs until November 26 at 7:59 AM UTC. There’s another anniversary being celebrated here, too, as Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) turns 20 later this month.
The biggest addition is the Mephiles skin, making its debut through the paid Premium Event Pass.
The pass also includes a Gummy Wave skin, an Egg Carrier (Sonic 2006) Buddy and the Dark Lord Trail effect, bringing several familiar elements from Sonic’s 2006 adventure into the game’s toy-like world.
There’s something for players using the free pass, too. By earning XP through battles and completing Event Missions, they can progress through rewards that include a Scepter of Darkness Buddy and a Sonic the Hedgehog banner.
SEGA has also brought back its Event Raffle, giving players another way to collect skins from previous events. Mint Candies can be earned through Ring Survival, Party Rumble and Event Missions, then spent on raffle boxes containing randomly selected Skin Fragments. Reaching certain raffle milestones also awards Red Star Rings.
Meanwhile, the Red Star Ring Shop has received three new anniversary items. King Silver and Warrior Shadow are available as limited-time skins, alongside an Elise Plush Buddy inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
And if you’ve been away from Sonic Rumble Party for a while, there’s an extra reason to log back in. SEGA has announced anniversary gifts of 150 Red Star Rings and 300 Omni Fragments for all players who log in during the event. Returning players logging in for the first time in five months will receive another 300 Omni Fragments.
The anniversary follows October’s Season 11 launch, which brought Kit to the game and introduced a new promotional trailer celebrating its first year.
The 1st Anniversary Event ends November 26 at 7:59 AM UTC, so players have three weeks to work through the passes, collect raffle rewards and pick up the anniversary shop items.
Full details are available through SEGA’s official anniversary announcement and the game’s Steam news page.
