Sonic Rumble Party Season 8 is now underway, bringing a new Season Pass, Rumble Rankings, stages, shop items, Skin Fragment rewards, and gameplay adjustments.
The season runs from July 24 through August 26, 2026.

Players can earn XP through battles to progress through the Season 8 Pass and unlock rewards including Skins, Buddies, Tune-Up Wrenches, Score Badges, and more.
Rumble Rankings also return, challenging players to record their best scores and climb through the available leagues. Skill Stars and Red Star Rings can be earned by improving rankings and completing missions.
Each weekly Rumble Rankings period will run from Tuesday at 8:00 AM UTC through Monday at 8:00 AM UTC.
Season 8 also introduces a new Season Stamp Card. Players can collect stamps by obtaining specific Skins, with rewards including Score Badges, a special name display feature, and the Legendary Skill: Super Baseball Slide.
Crew Score Missions and Clash of the Crews will continue throughout the season, allowing players to work together for Skill Stars, Tune-Up Wrenches, and other rewards. These events and Rumble Rankings will not be held during season changeover weeks.
Four new stages have been added across Party Rumble and Ring Survival:




The Red Star Ring Shop has also received several new additions. Cursed Samurai Infinite, Armored Metal Sonic, and the Egg Emperor buddy will be available throughout Season 8.



New seasonal Skin Fragments can be collected for Dragon Hunter Shadow, Chronos Silver, Iron Knight Charmy, and Crystal Wave.




Players who complete this season’s Skin Fragment Challenges can also unlock AI Racer Knuckles as a special completion reward.

Two additional Stage Challenges have been introduced for Chemical Plant Run 3 and Seaside Hill Run 3.
Season 8 also makes balance adjustments to several skills. Energy Ball, Triple Blast, Psychic Knife, Vector Breath, and Moon Mech Attack have received increased projectile speeds.
Cross Slash has been weakened, with its initial cooldown increased and the number of Rings earned from opponents reduced.
SEGA has also increased the maximum number of friends players can add.
