Your SonicMe avatar can now have a Chao of its own! SEGA has released a new update for its Sonic-themed avatar creator, introducing the adorable creatures alongside several customization options requested by fans.
The official announcement confirms that players can now add Chao to their personalized characters, with the accompanying artwork showing a regular Chao, along with a Tails, Shadow, Knuckles, and Sonic Chao.
Chao aren’t the only new additions, either. SEGA has also introduced pink hair and Tangle’s tail, giving fans more ways to recreate their favorite characters or put together something entirely their own. Both additions were specifically highlighted as fan-requested features, although SEGA hasn’t provided a complete list of everything included in the update.
SonicMe originally launched in June as part of Sonic’s 35th anniversary celebrations, offering thousands of customization options for creating and sharing Sonic-inspired avatars. The new additions expand those possibilities just four months after its debut.
Fans can try out the new customization options now at Sonic-Me.com and share their creations using #SonicMe.
