COSPA is bringing a sizeable new batch of Sonic merchandise to Tokyo Game Show 2026, with Sonic, Shadow, Classic Sonic and Chao spread across apparel, bags and smaller accessories.
The collection will receive advance sales at COSPA’s TGS booth from September 17 through September 21, covering the full five-day run of this year’s show at Makuhari Messe. COSPA is also taking online reservations through October 12, with the wider release planned for late November 2026.
The clothing side includes new lightweight dry zip hoodies for Sonic and Shadow, along with several T-shirts built around different eras and styles from the series. Among the designs shown by COSPA are a black Shadow shirt with a backlit-style graphic, a “GOTTA GO FAST!” Classic Sonic shirt, and Sonic designs leaning into a more retro-futuristic look.
Chao get some of the most practical items in the collection, including both a shoulder tote and a larger tote bag. Sonic and Shadow also receive matching neck straps, while Classic Sonic appears on a 1991-themed pass case.
There is plenty for collectors who do not need another shirt, too. COSPA has prepared acrylic block figures, outdoor-use stickers and four-piece mini-sticker sets, with separate Sonic and Shadow designs among the smaller goods.
COSPA already has a fairly deep Sonic catalogue, ranging from shirts and acrylic displays to bags and character accessories. The company’s current Sonic listings include products for Sonic, Shadow and Chao across many of those same categories.
This new wave is separate from the SEGA and Ensky TGS merchandise revealed earlier this week, which includes the Classic Sonic shirts, Sonic Mania keychain and NEW UFO CATCHER items. COSPA will be selling its collection from its own booth at the show.
COSPA also brought a dedicated Sonic collection to Tokyo Game Show last year, making the 2026 range another round of TGS-exclusive early access for its Sonic merchandise.
The new items will be available first at Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 to 21, followed by their general Japanese release in late November.
