Sonic is officially rolling into pinball, and we finally have the first real look at Jersey Jack Pinball’s upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog machine.
A new teaser video has begun appearing on the screens of Jersey Jack Pinball machines, giving owners a brief glimpse at the front of the cabinet for the Sonic the Hedgehog Collector’s Edition. The image shows the coin door, bright blue lighting, Sonic artwork, Gold Rings, and sparkling blue cabinet details, with the on-screen message, “Your pinball adventure starts here.”
It is only a small peek for now, but it already gives the machine a very Sonic feel. The blue glow, ring imagery, and arcade-style presentation are exactly the sort of thing you would hope to see from a physical Sonic pinball table.
The full reveal is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, which just so happens to be Sonic’s birthday. That makes the timing feel especially fitting for a project tied to the Blue Blur’s 35th anniversary year.

According to Knapp Arcade, production is already underway at Jersey Jack Pinball’s factory in Elk Grove Village, with Sonic being built on a second production line alongside the company’s Harry Potter machine. This is reportedly the first time Jersey Jack Pinball has produced two different machines at the same time.
Fans will also get a chance to see the game in action shortly after the reveal. A launch party is planned for Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 at Under the Glass Pinball in Red Bank, New Jersey. Jersey Jack Pinball founder Jack Guarnieri and legendary pinball designer Steve Ritchie are both expected to attend.
Full details on gameplay features, editions, pricing, music, voice elements, and table design have not yet been announced. For now, though, the first teaser confirms that Sonic’s pinball adventure is very real, already in production, and only days away from its proper reveal.
