NERDS Clothing has launched its officially licensed Sonic the Hedgehog streetwear collection, turning the range first previewed on Sonic’s birthday in June into a much bigger 11-shirt release.
The company confirmed that the collection was live in a September 18 launch post, declaring that “Sonic speed meets streetwear” and sharing a new set of campaign photos. Sonic, Shadow, Rouge and Silver take the spotlight in those shots, each posed against a wall of old television sets and lit in colours matching the character.

The full NERDS x Sonic collection goes well beyond those four photographs. The line includes individual designs for Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Espio, Metal Sonic, Rouge, Vector, Dr. Eggman and Amy Rose.
Every design is an oversized black shirt with a direct-to-garment jumbo print covering most of the front. NERDS lists the shirts at $45 USD each, while the European version of the store currently displays €39.95. Sizes run from S through 5XL.
The shirts are made to order rather than held as ordinary ready-to-ship stock. NERDS asks buyers to allow up to three weeks for fulfilment, with shipping calculated at checkout.

The artwork leans hard into the oversized music-shirt look. Sonic appears beneath sharp blue-and-gold lettering, surrounded by lightning, Japanese branding and a line about getting the party started. Shadow receives a black-and-red layout built around his Ultimate Life Form identity, complete with a much darker wordmark.
Silver’s design uses large chrome lettering with blue and yellow energy effects, while Rouge gets a black-and-pink print filled with gems, flames and sparkling purple type. The campaign photography shows how far the graphics extend across each shirt rather than limiting them to a small chest print.

The rest of the range follows the same format while giving each character a different type treatment and colour scheme. Tails uses yellow and orange, Knuckles gets deep red lettering, Espio is surrounded by purple, and Vector’s design is almost impossible to miss in green. Metal Sonic, Eggman and Amy round out a character selection that digs further into the cast than the usual Sonic-and-Shadow pairing.

This launch arrives on the same day as NEPTUN’s separate Sonic 35th anniversary streetwear drop, so there are two different licensed Sonic collections on sale right now. NEPTUN’s one-week range includes jackets, jeans, hoodies, skateboard decks and accessories, while NERDS is concentrating on oversized character shirts.
NERDS has not announced an end date for its Sonic collection. All 11 designs can be ordered now through the company’s official online store.
