SEGA has launched Sonic Check In Adventure, a special Sonic the Hedgehog 35th anniversary collaboration with Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea.

The collaboration began on June 22, 2026, and will run through September 6. The event is being held with Paradise City, the integrated resort operated by Paradise Sega Sammy, and features Sonic-themed hotel plans, exclusive goods, food menus, photo zones, greeting events, and limited-time experiences inspired by Sonic’s world.

During the event period, the hotel’s indoor and outdoor areas will be decorated with Sonic-themed visuals, including design elements based on Sonic’s sense of speed and the series’ iconic Ring motifs. The event is open not only to hotel guests, but also to general visitors who want to enjoy the experience zones and limited food menus.

Two hotel plans are being offered during the campaign period. The Sonic-Themed Room Plan at Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City includes a one-night stay in a limited Sonic-themed room, all four Sonic signature food menu items, and five collaboration-exclusive merchandise items. The food lineup includes shaved ice, pizza, a hamburger, and cake, while the goods set includes a reusable insulated tumbler, keycap keychain, PVC pouch, puzzle magnet, and drawstring bag.

SEGA notes that the Sonic-themed rooms are available in limited quantities, and sales may end once the allotted inventory has been exhausted. The exclusive merchandise will be provided at check-in, with one set available per room per night.

Paradise Hotel & Resort is also offering a Sonic Stay Plan, which includes the same five collaboration-exclusive merchandise items as a guest benefit. Guests staying through this plan can also freely take part in the Sonic experience zones, greeting events, and food menu offerings held at Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City.

The Sonic Check In Adventure experience zones include a main photo area in the first-floor lobby of Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City. This lobby setup will feature a Sonic-themed air balloon and three themed areas, including one that looks back at Sonic’s history and another that reimagines the game world in a more everyday setting.

The outdoor garden will also bring Sonic’s world to life with additional activities and photo opportunities. Visitors can expect a Ring-themed entrance arch, Team Sonic photo spots, and a Ring-passing game while exploring the garden area.

Sonic greeting events are scheduled for June 26, July 10, July 17, July 31, August 8, August 16, and August 29. The greetings will run from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM in 30-minute intervals, taking place in the first-floor lobby from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and in the second-floor outdoor garden from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. SEGA notes that some experiences may be unavailable or adjusted depending on operating conditions.

Limited Sonic signature food menus will also be sold at select locations inside Hyatt Regency Incheon Paradise City from June 22 through September 6. The lineup includes Sonic Signature Shaved Ice, the Sonic 35th Anniversary Burger, Tails Pizza, and Tails Mango Shortcake. These items will be available at Swell Lounge and Pool House.

Paradise City is located about five minutes by car from Incheon International Airport and is known as an art and entertainment resort with hotel stays, dining, shopping, indoor theme park attractions, spa facilities, casino entertainment, and more than 3,000 artworks displayed throughout the property.

Sonic the Hedgehog officially celebrates his 35th anniversary on June 23, 2026. Since his debut in 1991, Sonic has grown from SEGA’s flagship game character into a global entertainment icon across games, films, animation, music, merchandise, events, and collaborations.

With Sonic Check In Adventure, SEGA is adding another large-scale destination event to the anniversary calendar, giving fans in South Korea a hotel-based celebration built around themed rooms, exclusive goods, food, character greetings, photo zones, and interactive Sonic experiences.
