Sonic Speed Simulator has officially teased its next major world, with Kronos Island from Sonic Frontiers set to arrive in a future update.

The reveal was shared by developer NibrocRock on the official Sonic Speed Simulator Discord server, showcasing early footage of the new area. Kronos Island appears to closely mirror its original appearance, featuring wide grassy landscapes, ancient ruins, and coastal cliffs, all adapted into Sonic Speed Simulator’s fast-paced gameplay style.

Players can be seen dashing through large open areas, climbing structures, and navigating the environment while grinding rails, suggesting a significant expansion in both scale and level design.

The teaser post describes the upcoming zone as “the biggest world in Sonic Speed Simulator history,” hinting at a major step up from previous updates in terms of size and exploration.

While no release date has been confirmed, the announcement makes it clear that Sonic Speed Simulator is continuing to evolve with larger, more ambitious environments inspired by mainline Sonic titles.
