Sonic’s cyber-corrupted appearance from Sonic Frontiers is getting the Funko Pop! treatment, and it looks like collectors will have a particularly limited figure to track down!

Photos of a new Cyber Corrupted Sonic Funko Pop! have surfaced online following a reported sighting in Japan, showing a special edition numbered #1323 with packaging marked “1200 PCS/PZS.” According to the label, only 1,200 pieces have been produced.

The figure takes inspiration from Sonic’s cyber-corrupted form in Sonic Frontiers, with red, glitch-like corruption covering part of his body. It’s a rather different look for the Blue Blur, recreating the condition that gradually takes hold of him during his adventure across the Starfall Islands.

The box also carries Pop! Limited Edition branding and a holographic Funko Original authentication sticker with a QR code, alongside the label identifying its limited production quantity.

It’s not the first time Funko has given a Sonic character such a limited release, either. Last year, the company released a translucent Chaos Pop! figure, also restricted to 1,200 pieces.

The new photographs began circulating among collectors earlier today, with the discovery traced to a Japanese buyer post by @pachi_quest27, before being shared by other Sonic merchandise accounts on social media.

There’s no confirmed price or retailer information for Cyber Corrupted Sonic just yet, and it’s unclear whether the figure is exclusive to Japan or will receive a wider release.

We’ll keep an eye out for further availability details, especially for collectors hoping to get their hands on one of those 1,200 figures.
