Want to experience Sonic’s massive crossover with the King of the Monsters all in one go? IDW Publishing is bringing Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla together in a collected paperback edition, scheduled for release on March 23, 2027, for $17.99 USD.
The new collection has appeared on Penguin Random House’s official website, confirming that the 128-page paperback will include all five issues of the crossover written by Nick Marino and illustrated by Jack Lawrence.
The series originally kicked off in July, bringing Godzilla, Mothra and Mechagodzilla into Sonic’s world through a mysterious dimensional rift. With cities being torn apart by the invading kaiju, Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles have their hands full trying to contain the destruction, while Dr. Eggman sees an opportunity to get his hands on Mechagodzilla’s technology.
The five-part crossover is still underway, with its final issue scheduled for December 16. The paperback will follow just over three months later, giving fans a chance to pick up the complete story without having to hunt down the individual issues.
Preorders are already being advertised through Penguin Random House, with purchasing links for retailers including Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Bookshop.org and Target. The collection carries ISBN 9798887246048 for anyone looking to order it through their local bookstore.
