Amy Rose is finally getting properly dressed for Halloween.
Disguise has unveiled its 2026 Halloween collection, confirming that its official Sonic the Hedgehog range will expand this fall with all-new Amy Rose costumes alongside returning options for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.
The announcement is part of Disguise’s much larger seasonal portfolio, which also covers properties including KPop Demon Hunters, Toy Story 5, Demon Slayer, Minecraft and Super Mario. For Sonic fans, though, Amy is the real new addition.
Disguise’s own 2026 catalog already gives us a better idea of what that means. A child-sized Amy Rose Classic costume includes a dress, character headband, gloves and socks, with sizes ranging from Girls S through L.
There is also an Amy Rose Deluxe Adult costume, meaning she is not being restricted to the kids’ range. The adult version comes with a dress, character headpiece, gloves and boot covers, and is currently listed in sizes S through XL.
Amy therefore joins a core Sonic costume range that already includes the returning Sonic, Tails and Knuckles hooded jumpsuits. Disguise also says its 2026 collection will feature additional new Sonic styles created around the franchise’s 35th anniversary, although the announcement does not break down every anniversary-specific design yet.
The company’s current catalog does show that it is widening the Sonic selection beyond straightforward character costumes. Newer core-IP listings include a Sonic Deluxe Adult hooded jumpsuit, a large Ring accessory, and a Sonic “Treat Your Trunk” kit for Halloween car decorations.
This expansion follows Disguise’s multi-year licensing agreement with SEGA, announced in 2025, which made the JAKKS Pacific division the sole authorized manufacturer of core Sonic the Hedgehog costumes across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Sonic City covered that deal when it was announced, including plans to expand beyond the company’s earlier Sonic Prime and movie-based ranges.
There is a separate movie costume push coming further down the road as well. JAKKS Pacific and Disguise have already signed on for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 merchandise, with costumes based on the upcoming film planned for 2027 and characters including Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Knuckles, Amy Rose and Metal Sonic named in that agreement. That is distinct from the core 2026 Halloween collection being revealed now.
Disguise says its 2026 Halloween costumes will begin appearing at major retailers this fall, including Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, HalloweenCostumes.com, Spirit Halloween and specialty Halloween stores. Pricing for the new Amy costumes has not yet been published through Disguise’s catalog.
After years of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles being able to turn up at the door demanding candy, Amy finally gets her turn.
