The next chapter in the Sonic the Hedgehog and DC Comics crossover is almost here, and fans can now get a sneak peek at what’s coming in issue #2. DC has released the first few preview pages from the comic along with the standard and variant covers—and it looks like things are getting intense. Sonic and The Flash are teaming up to take on Darkseid, but judging by the preview, they’re already getting knocked around. One panel even shows both speedsters taking a hit at the same time—not exactly the cleanest start to the fight.
You won’t have to wait long to see how it all plays out. The issue drops on April 16 and will be available for $3.99 in both physical and digital formats. A card stock variant cover, priced at $4.99, will also be available for collectors who want something a bit fancier for their shelf.
