DC Comics has shared an updated preview for DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: The Metal Legion #1, giving fans a new look at the next chapter of the crossover between the Justice League and SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog.
The new limited series continues the larger DC and SEGA collaboration, which began with the 2025 comic book crossover and expanded into apparel, collectibles, toys, and other consumer products. The Metal Legion brings back writer Ian Flynn and artist Adam Bryce Thomas, continuing the creative pairing behind the previous DC x Sonic comic series.
The story once again brings the worlds of DC Comics and Sonic the Hedgehog together, this time through mysterious mechanical rings that have appeared across both universes. While the heroes are reunited, the strange connection between their worlds appears to have a darker origin than they realize.
