David Mariotte, one of IDW Publishing’s writers and editors, has confirmed via his Bluesky account that the main Sonic IDW series will go on a brief hiatus during the run of the Fang the Hunter miniseries announced last month. It will resume its run later in 2024.
Yeah. We’re making space for the Fang mini. We think it’s cool and the ongoing series starting with issue #69 will be back later in 2024 after Fang wraps up!

This isn’t the first time such a hiatus has occurred; the comic also went bimonthly during the run of Imposter Syndrome. The Fang miniseries is set to debut in January 2024.
