IDW has just released covers A, B, and the official solicitation for issue 71 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. Cover A features the mysterious Phantom Rider, introduced in the RI cover for issue 70 releasing in June 2024, while Cover B showcases Surge and Kit in new “Sonic Riders-styled” apparel.
The Phantom Rider, framed! Sonic’s secret identity has usurped during the next event of Clean Sweepstakes, leading him and the other riders into a vicious game of smoke and mirrors. Tensions run high as secrets are revealed and sides are taken. Don’t miss it!
Issue 71 is set to release in July this year, with story and Cover B by Evan Stanley, art and Cover A by Min Ho Kim, and cover RI by Nathalie Fourdraine.
Additionally, IDW unveiled cover B for issue 70, drawn by Abigail Starling. For the Fang the Hunter miniseries, a page preview was released featuring the Hard Boiled Heavies for the upcoming fourth issue, slated for release on May 1st, 2024.
