Team Dark is finally back together in SONIC PICO PARK! Rouge the Bat and E-123 Omega have been revealed as the latest additions to the upcoming cooperative puzzle game, joining Shadow and the rest of Sonic’s increasingly crowded roster.
The announcement came during the first episode of PICO MART: Now Open at Sonic Speed!, which premiered today. A new character reveal trailer has also been released, showing off the pair and confirming a few interesting details about how they’ll work in the game.
Rouge can fly, much like Tails and Cream, giving players another familiar character capable of taking to the skies. Omega, on the other hand, is quite literally a bigger addition to the cast.
The heavily armed robot joins Big the Cat as one of the game’s large characters, who are only available in certain stages. So while Omega has been confirmed as playable, you won’t be able to pick him for every puzzle. It seems even the Ultimate Lifeform’s robotic teammate has to wait his turn.

The announcement follows the recent reveal of Silver and Blaze, who joined the lineup earlier this month. Before that, Cream, Cheese and Big made their debut during Tokyo Game Show 2026.
Back at TGS, producer Shintaro Shimazu explained that Takashi Iizuka had asked the development team to include as many Sonic characters as possible for the franchise’s 35th anniversary. Judging by how many familiar faces have appeared since then, the team certainly seems to have taken that request to heart!
Rouge and Omega’s reveal was part of the first PICO MART episode, the new official YouTube program set inside a fictional convenience store. Hosted by Blue PICO CAT and Airi Hiruta, the show features game announcements, merchandise news and gameplay demonstrations ahead of release. You can watch the full debut episode below.
SONIC PICO PARK launches on November 12, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Windows and Steam.
The game supports two to eight players locally and online, with cross-platform multiplayer allowing friends on different systems to tackle its puzzles together. Fans can already add it to their Steam wishlist ahead of release.
