Aang and Katara have officially joined Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! SEGA has released the Avatar Legends Pack, bringing two of the most recognizable characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender into its crossover racer, along with a new course, machine and music.

The sixth and final premium DLC pack of Year One is available separately for $5.99 USD, while players who own the original Digital Deluxe Edition or Season Pass can access it as part of their existing purchase.

The two new racers arrive alongside Gliding Air, a machine inspired by the world of Avatar, and Lion Turtle Island, a new course featuring the four-element transformations showcased in SEGA’s earlier trailer.

Sonic City previously covered the crossover’s release-date reveal, which gave fans their first extended look at the course. With the full pack now available, players can race across Lion Turtle Island using the new characters and machine.

SEGA has also provided additional gameplay footage featuring both characters racing on Lion Turtle Island and White Cave.

Five pieces of Avatar Legends music have also been added to the game’s Jukebox: “Lion Turtle Island: Intro,” “Lion Turtle Island,” “Lion Turtle Island: Final Lap,” “Avatar Legends: Character Select” and “Avatar Legends: Result.” The introduction, character selection and results themes are Jukebox-exclusive.

The DLC launch is being celebrated with a new Avatar Legends Festival, running from October 15 at 5:00 PM PT through October 18 at 4:59 PM PT. The same event takes place from October 16 at 9:00 AM JST through October 19 at 8:59 AM JST in Japan.

Players will compete across three teams in online races, earning Festival Points and working toward additional rewards, including decals and Gadgets. The event introduces special challenges involving actions such as Touch Dashes, with each team’s results contributing to the overall competition.

SEGA notes that Gadgets offered through the festival may become obtainable in future updates, while other rewards could return through alternative distribution methods.

The Avatar Legends Pack is included in the original $29.99 USD Season Pass, which is separate from the recently announced Season Pass Two. Digital Deluxe Edition owners already have access to the first pass, while Standard Edition and physical-copy owners can purchase the crossover individually.

Players must update to the latest version of CrossWorlds to access the new content. Season Pass owners can use it after completing the game’s tutorial, while those purchasing the DLC separately must download it from their platform’s digital storefront.

Fans without the pack aren’t excluded from racing alongside its content, either. SEGA confirms that players who don’t own Avatar Legends can still compete online against Aang and Katara, including on Lion Turtle Island.

The crossover is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

With Avatar Legends completing the original Season Pass, attention now turns toward CrossWorlds’ second year, which officially begins November 3 with the Godzilla Pack, Duel Mode and another wave of free additions.
