Aang and Katara finally have a date for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

SEGA has released a new trailer for the upcoming Avatar Legends Pack, confirming an October 13 launch while giving us a much closer look at its new course, vehicle and playable racers.

The trailer opens by recreating the familiar Avatar: The Last Airbender introduction with Sonic characters before moving into the DLC itself. From there, the focus shifts to Lion Turtle Island, where the course changes around the racers through an element-bending transformation gimmick built around the four elements.

The new Avatar Legends trailer introduces Lion Turtle Island’s elemental transformations before confirming the pack’s October 13 release.

Aang and Katara are both joining the roster, accompanied by the new Gliding Air vehicle. The crossover also brings Avatar-themed sounds, emotes and decals into the game.

SEGA’s current Season Pass guide lists the Avatar Legends Pack as the sixth wave of the original Season Pass, confirming Aang, Katara, Gliding Air and Lion Turtle Island as its core contents. The pack will also be available separately from the Season Pass.

We first got a proper look at the Avatar crossover back in June, when SEGA revealed Aang and Katara and placed the pack somewhere in October 2026. The new trailer finally locks down the release date and shows how Avatar’s bending is being worked into the racing itself.

There is a slight regional difference in the date being advertised. The English CrossWorlds account gives October 13, while SEGA’s Japanese channels list October 14 and describe the Avatar Legends Pack as the sixth and final paid update of Season 1.

Japan has also confirmed an Avatar Legends Festival shortly after the DLC arrives. The event will run from October 16 at 9:00 AM JST through October 19 at 8:59 AM JST.

That gives CrossWorlds one last paid crossover before the game moves fully into its second year, with the Year Two lineup already beginning to take shape.

The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack launches October 13 according to SEGA’s English announcement, with the Japanese release listed for October 14.
