Jersey Jack Pinball and SEGA have fully revealed Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball, an official high-speed pinball adventure featuring three different editions and a wide range of Sonic-inspired gameplay, music, visuals, and mechanical features.

Players will join Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, and their friends as they race through iconic stages, collect Gold Rings, gather Chaos Emeralds, and face Dr. Eggman in an epic final showdown.

The game is available in three models: Collector’s Edition, Special Edition, and Arcade Edition.

Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball is designed around the speed and flow associated with the series. Players will progress through seven legendary stages, including Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant, while taking on boss battles and other challenges inspired by Sonic’s adventures.

The machine uses visuals from Sonic Generations alongside original pinball animations and gameplay sequences. Its soundtrack includes iconic songs such as “Green Hill” and “Escape from the City,” as well as additional fan-favorite music featured in Sonic Generations.

Every version of the machine includes Jersey Jack Pinball’s 27-inch HD LCD display, immersive RGB lighting system, Micro-LED Gold Ring displays, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth audio, and a High-Score Player Camera.

Bluetooth support allows players to connect noise-cancelling headphones or external speakers for a more personalized listening experience. The Jersey Jack-exclusive High-Score Camera can capture player reactions and celebrate Grand Champions, adding another competitive element to the game.

“Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball brings players together around the game and proves that pinball is fun for families and friends to compete, interact, and create priceless memories,” said Jersey Jack Pinball founder Jack Guarnieri.

The playfield includes several interactive Sonic-inspired features, including Spring Targets, Micro-LED Gold Rings, Total-Control Inline Drop Targets, a Magnetic Accelerator Loop, a polycarbonate upper playfield, custom RGB Chaos Emerald inserts, a Spin-Dash action button, Spring Kickback, an up-post ball catch, and a Superconducting Battle Zone magnet.

The machine also includes sculpted Sonic, Amy, and Dr. Eggman toys, a Dr. Eggman animatronic bash toy, a Bash-Dash captive ball lock, Gold Wireform Ramps, a spinning target, and Dr. Eggman’s Base.

The game was designed by Steve Ritchie, who is known for fast-shooting layouts and the signature flow that earned him the nickname “The King of Flow.” Ritchie has worked in game development for more than 40 years and is also known as the voice of Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat II, including the famous “Finish Him!” line.

The Collector’s Edition is the premium model and is priced at $15,000 USD.

It includes Super-Sparkle cabinet artwork, Knuckles Red metallic laser-cut armor, a Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman mechanical topper with a super-wide LCD screen, a Gold Ring shooter knob, a numbered Collector’s Edition plaque, gold sparkle playfield accents, inner art blades, external lighting, a shaker motor, and other premium finishes.

The Special Edition is priced at $12,000 USD.

It features Green Hill Zone battle cabinet artwork, Sonic Blue armor, a dual-layer RGB acrylic battle topper, a shaker motor with haptic feedback, non-reflective Invisiglass, and additional premium finishes.

The Arcade Edition is priced at $9,999 USD.

Designed for high-traffic locations, the Arcade Edition focuses on the core gameplay experience and is intended to deliver fast, repeatable play for arcades, entertainment venues, and home game rooms.

Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball is now available to purchase directly through Jersey Jack Pinball or through authorized distributors.

With seven Sonic stages, familiar characters, series music, boss battles, advanced lighting, mechanical toys, Bluetooth audio, and three editions to choose from, Sonic the Hedgehog Pinball brings the Blue Blur’s speed into one of his biggest physical arcade releases yet.
