SEGA has shared a new recap video highlighting Sonic the Hedgehog’s appearance at McLaren Racing Live in Miami.
The event took place from April 29 through May 3 at Regatta Harbor, where Sonic joined McLaren Racing to help celebrate the team’s 1000th Grand Prix. Fans who attended the Miami activation were able to check out the Sonic Speed Trap, an interactive experience built around Sonic’s signature speed.
The Sonic Speed Trap gave visitors a chance to sprint down the track, create a high-speed photo moment, and take part in a Sonic-themed fan activation throughout the weekend. The event also featured merchandise, collectible giveaways, and photo opportunities tied to the ongoing collaboration between Sonic the Hedgehog and McLaren Racing.
SEGA has now released a recap video for fans who missed the event, showing Sonic’s presence at the Miami Grand Prix and the wider McLaren Racing Live celebration.
The Miami activation continues SEGA and McLaren Racing’s growing partnership, which has brought Sonic into real-world motorsport events as part of a wider collaboration between the two brands.
