Sonic Blitz has rolled out update version 1.8, delivering a mix of event content, quality of life improvements and balance changes shaped directly by player feedback.
The biggest highlight of the update is the return of the Blitz Battle Zone event. The popular 6 Star Decks event is back, once again setting all cards to 6 Stars and creating a level playing field for high intensity matches. This mode remains a favorite among players who enjoy fast paced battles without stat advantages influencing the outcome.
Version 1.8 also introduces a small but noticeable UI improvement. The 7 Day Reward screen has been updated, making it clearer and easier for players to track upcoming login bonuses and rewards.
One of the more impactful changes comes from adjustments to Star Coin drop rates. In response to community feedback, rewards have been rebalanced so that more Star Coins now drop from Daily Mission Packs, with fewer coming from Weekly Packs. While the overall increase is modest, the change gives players more frequent opportunities to earn Star Coins through regular play.
The update also includes general bug fixes, continuing the team’s ongoing efforts to improve stability and polish across the game.
