The worlds of high-speed hedgehogs and bizarre battle cats are about to collide. PONOS Corporation has officially launched a new collaboration between The Battle Cats (Nyanko Daisensou) and Sonic the Hedgehog, bringing a variety of time-limited content to the hit mobile strategy game.

The crossover began on May 23 at 11:00 AM JST and will run until June 6 at 10:59 AM JST.

During the event, players can pull from a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed gacha pool featuring iconic characters like Sonic and Shadow. These exclusive units will only be available during the crossover window, making this a prime opportunity for fans to add some speed to their cat armies.

Several themed stages are also live, including a special Green Hill Zone level. Clearing this stage gives players a chance to earn a rare collaboration unit: Cat Sonic. Additional stages will feature powerful Sonic-themed bosses, challenging players with new battles and mechanics.

That’s not all—the Ranking Dojo mode will feature a new limited-time event titled Sonic Battle!, where Sonic characters make appearances in competitive battles of speed and strength.

Players who log in daily during the event can collect limited-time login stamps. Logging in for five days will reward the special EX unit Cat Tails, with additional useful items handed out across the login streak.

Even the Gamatoto Expedition Team is joining the crossover fun. Chao will appear as a special helper, boosting item collection during expeditions for the duration of the event.

Whether you’re a seasoned Battle Cats player or just diving in for the Sonic crossover, now’s the perfect time to log in and play. Don’t miss your chance to collect limited units and celebrate this unique blend of fast-paced action and feline strategy.

No one get your hopes up. I spent countless hours from the time this got announced to now and only now did I find out it’s not for English versions and only Japanese versions. Truly unfortunate and I was really excited
