The Sonic x Asphalt Legends Unite collaboration is kicking into high gear on May 29th, and we now have the full breakdown of stages, rewards, and gameplay formats tied to the Racing Around the World campaign. First teased on social media, the event runs as part of Asphalt’s “Pinnacle of Speed” season and offers a mix of ring-collecting races, unlockable Sonic-themed decals, and a brand-new featured vehicle: the SSC Ultimate Aero TT.

This in-game event is structured around two primary race types—Collector Mode and 1v1 Challenge—each with their own goals and rewards:

Collector Mode: Earn Rings by setting new personal records in each stage. Only your best run counts toward your cumulative Ring total. A total of 1,070 Rings is required to unlock the final campaign stage.

1v1 Challenge Mode: Go head-to-head against a rival. These stages don’t award Rings but provide car blueprints and upgrade parts essential for improving performance in Collector Mode.

Each day, four new stages unlock every six hours, alternating between the two race types.
