Young Dirty Bastard (YDB), son of Wu-Tang Clan legend Ol’ Dirty Bastard and member of Wu Legacy, has partnered with SEGA to release an original track inspired by the legendary SHINOBI franchise. Titled The Path Just Begun, the song is now streaming across major music platforms.
To celebrate the debut, SEGA has unveiled a brand-new trailer for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, pairing YDB’s powerful lyricism with fresh gameplay footage from the upcoming ninja action game. The title launches worldwide on August 29, 2025.

The collaboration highlights a shared theme of legacy. Just as YDB continues the musical path of his father, SEGA is reimagining one of its most beloved franchises for a new generation. Both projects embrace martial arts mythology, East-meets-West fusion, and cultural defiance.
In addition, YDB’s apparel brand Dirty Magic has released an official SHINOBI collection on Amazon. The limited-time lineup includes t-shirts, hoodies, and other gear inspired by the game.
This latest announcement follows SEGA’s earlier reveal of the SEGA Villains Stage DLC, where Joe Musashi will face iconic enemies like Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. You can read our full coverage of the reveal here.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch via the eShop, starting at $29.99 USD. Pre-ordering the digital version provides a 10% discount, the Original Arcade Outfit, and the Fortune Hunter Amulet. A free demo featuring an enhanced version of the first stage is also playable now.
