SEGA has officially revealed details for Sonic Birthday Party 2025 in JOYPOLIS, a major celebration marking Sonic the Hedgehog’s 34th anniversary. Taking place at Tokyo Joypolis, the annual event promises exclusive merch, themed food, park-wide voice announcements, and special guest appearances—all running throughout June, with spotlight events on Sonic’s birthday, June 23.
Collaboration Tickets with Exclusive Goods
Fans can purchase special one-day park tickets that include admission, unlimited rides, and a Sonic-themed pass case:
- Adults (18+): ¥6,000
- Students (Elementary to High School): ¥5,000
Sonic Print Sticker Booth
Snap photos with Sonic and friends using exclusive themed print sticker machines.
- Price: ¥600 per play
Exclusive Collaboration Menu
Food and drinks come with original stickers:
- Sonic Birthday Chili Dog Set – ¥1,300 (includes holographic sticker)
- Sonic Birthday Float – ¥700 (includes standard sticker)
Stamp Rally
Explore Joypolis and collect stamps from around the park!
- Rally Sheet: ¥700 (purchase at the gift shop)
- Complete it and return to the info counter to receive a limited-edition pin badge
Voice Announcements from Sonic and Friends
Hear exclusive audio broadcasts throughout the venue from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, and a mystery guest.

- On June 23, additional birthday-only voice lines will play
Meet Sonic in Person – June 23 Only
Guests can meet Sonic in the Greeting Room for his big day!

The SoniSta! livestream will be broadcast live from the venue:
