There was some uncertainty about this at first, especially given how strict anti-cheat systems can clash with Linux-based hardware like the Steam Deck. But thankfully, that won’t be a problem here.
Sonic Rumble still doesn’t have a confirmed release date, but listings on the iOS App Store—and the game’s current in-game season window—are pointing to May 8. If you’re planning to race your way through it on something a bit more powerful than your phone, it’s good to know the Steam Deck is officially in the clear.
