Sonic and Amy Rose have their own Heelys! SEGA has teamed up with the wheeled-shoe brand for a limited-edition collection, featuring two character-inspired Gio styles that are now available for $70 USD each.

The Sonic Gio comes in a bright blue colorway, with Sonic’s face printed across the side and yellow ring details near the heel. Amy gets her own pink version, complete with character artwork and printed sparkles around the back.

Both pairs use Heelys’ familiar Gio design, with a wheel built into the sole. They’re also equipped with ABEC 5 wheel bearings, padded collars, perforated toe boxes and rubber outsoles.

The collaboration has apparently been a long time coming, too. According to Heelys’ Social Media and Partnerships Strategist Sara Arbelaez, fans have been asking for Sonic-themed Heelys for years.

SEGA of America’s Vice President of Licensing & Partnerships, Alexander Gomez, also welcomed the collaboration, describing it as an opportunity to bring the two brands together through a new kind of Sonic merchandise.

The collection is available in sizes ranging from kids’ 13 to women’s 9 / men’s 8, according to SEGA’s US announcement, with availability through the official Heelys website and select retailers worldwide.

Both designs are listed at $70 USD on the official Sonic the Hedgehog x Heelys collection page. Fans in Europe can also find the Sonic and Amy Rose styles through Heelys’ European store, where they’re priced at €79.99. Available sizes can be checked directly on the individual product pages.
