Wendy’s and SEGA have launched a new Sonic the Hedgehog Kids’ Meal promotion in the United States as part of the franchise’s 35th anniversary celebrations.
Beginning July 20, each participating Wendy’s Kids’ Meal will include one of seven collectible character card cases. Every case features a different character design and comes with five Sonic the Hedgehog trading cards.

There are 35 cards to collect across the full promotion, with the seven sets featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, Amy Rose, Miles “Tails” Prower, Silver the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Rouge the Bat.
Fans will need to collect all seven card cases to complete the full 35-card collection.
The promotion follows the launch of a similar Sonic Kids’ Meal campaign in the United Kingdom earlier this year, bringing the collaboration to Wendy’s customers across the United States for the summer.
Each Kids’ Meal includes a choice of two chicken tenders, four chicken nuggets, a hamburger, or a cheeseburger. Customers can also choose between Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or apple bites, alongside a kids’ drink.
The Sonic the Hedgehog Kids’ Meal is available at participating U.S. Wendy’s restaurants, through the Wendy’s app, and through the company’s official website.
The promotion is scheduled to continue through early September, although collectibles are only available while supplies last and the specific card case included with each meal may vary by location.
With seven character cases and 35 cards available, the collaboration gives fans another collectible way to celebrate Sonic’s anniversary throughout the summer.
