Sonic the Hedgehog’s Funko Pop lineup is expanding once again, and this time the additions dive deeper into the franchise’s wide-ranging cast. Four more characters will be getting the vinyl treatment later this week, and for longtime fans, these choices might come as a welcome surprise.

First up are Blaze the Cat and Espio the Chameleon, two characters who have been part of the Sonic universe for years but somehow never received Pop figures until now. Their popularity across both the games and comics makes them long-overdue additions.

Next are the deep cuts: Jet the Hawk and Neo Metal Sonic. Jet, best known for his role in the Sonic Riders series and recently confirmed for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, is arriving just in time to ride the wave of renewed attention. Neo Metal Sonic, the powerful form of Metal Sonic introduced in Sonic Heroes, stands out with a slick metallic finish, making him the likely highlight of the bunch for collectors.

All four new Sonic Pops are set to launch on Wednesday, June 4, at 12 PM EST, according to collector Scarlet Joker on Twitter. There are no exclusive listings confirmed so far, meaning they should be available through standard Funko retailers. While pricing details haven’t been revealed, Neo Metal Sonic’s metallic treatment may come with a slight premium.

Whether you’re just starting your collection or looking to round out your Sonic display, this new wave of Pops is one of the most fan-focused yet.
