Dark Horse Direct has announced a new official partnership with SEGA, with a Sonic the Hedgehog collectible line now in production.
The collaboration will begin with Sonic and Tails figures inspired by their classic designs. While the figures are not ready to be fully shown yet, Dark Horse Direct has confirmed that both characters are currently planned as the first releases in the new lineup.
A waitlist page has already opened for the Sonic: The Hedgehog – Classic Sonic & Tails Figure, allowing fans to sign up and be notified when the item becomes available for pre-order. The listing is currently marked as “Coming Soon.”
Dark Horse Direct announced the partnership through its official social channels, saying it is “thrilled” to work with SEGA on Sonic the Hedgehog collectibles. The company also directed fans to join the waitlist ahead of the full reveal.
Dark Horse Direct is known for producing premium statues, figures, and collectibles based on major entertainment and gaming properties. Its entry into Sonic merchandise adds another collector-focused release to the franchise’s growing 35th anniversary lineup.
At the moment, pricing, scale, materials, release timing, and final product images have not been announced. More details are expected once Dark Horse Direct is ready to open pre-orders.
