Sonic Blitz Update v1.6 Introduces Unified Power Stat and New Blitz Battle Zone Event

Sonic Blitz has received its latest major update, version 1.6, bringing sweeping gameplay changes and exciting new event content.

The biggest overhaul comes with the introduction of Power, a single stat that now replaces both Attack and Health, streamlining combat while maintaining depth and strategy.

Card designs have been updated to reflect the new system, and several abilities have been adjusted accordingly. SEGA notes that the full list of card changes can be found in the game’s FAQs, while select cards have also received upgraded animations.

A brand-new limited-time event, the Blitz Battle Zone, is also live. This special mode features 6-Star Decks where every card is automatically boosted to maximum star level, resulting in intense, high-powered battles.

General improvements included in this update:

• Player profiles are now aligned at the top of the screen for better score visibility.
• A new Energy preview system shows how much Energy you will gain next turn.
• Enhanced battle and menu visual effects.
• A revised tutorial reflecting all the new gameplay adjustments.
• The 3-Star Coins unlock has been moved from player level 3 to level 9.

With these changes, Sonic Blitz v1.6 stands as one of the game’s most transformative updates yet, revamping its core systems while injecting fresh energy into every match.
