SEGA has announced a special Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds live stream featuring four popular Hololive VTubers: Shirakami Fubuki, Oozora Subaru, Ookami Mio, and Inugami Korone. The broadcast will take place on October 13 at 8:00 PM JST, with each creator streaming from their official YouTube channels.

During the event, the four VTubers will race together while showcasing the newly released Minecraft Pack, the first paid DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Fans can expect plenty of lively competition and playful banter as the Hololive members test out the crossover content.

The Minecraft Pack launched on October 9, adding Steve, Alex, and Creeper as playable racers, along with a Minecart vehicle, Minecraft World course, and both original and remixed Minecraft music tracks. To celebrate, SEGA is also hosting the in-game Minecraft Festival, running from October 10 at 9:00 AM JST to October 13 at 8:59 AM JST, giving players a chance to earn themed rewards.

Since its release on September 25, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has maintained an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam and a 9.0+ user score on Metacritic, reflecting strong fan reception worldwide.

Players who haven’t yet tried the game can also download the free demo, featuring Grand Prix and Time Trial modes with full vehicle and gadget customization. Save data from the demo carries over to the full version.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with a Switch 2 version coming soon.
