SEGA fans heading to the Osaka-Kansai Expo this summer are in for a treat. Animate’s Osaka Expo 2025 store, located in the West Gate Zone’s Ringside Marketplace, will host the tenth edition of its POP-UP space, “SEGA POP-UP in Animate Osaka Expo 2025,” from August 15 to 28, 2025.
The event will showcase merchandise from some of SEGA’s most beloved franchises, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, Virtua Fighter, and Sakura Wars. Visitors can browse a wide variety of goods, from classic acrylic stands and pins to unique items such as skateboard decks and traditional Japanese snacks like “kaminari okoshi.”
Sonic-themed highlights include a bottled cooling towel priced at 2,310 yen, acrylic stands, skateboard decks, and collectible pins, many of which feature brand new illustrations created exclusively for this POP-UP store.
The SEGA POP-UP will be open daily from 9:00 to 21:00, with the final day closing at 18:00. Fans can keep up with the latest announcements through the official Animate Osaka Expo 2025 website and social media channels.
