From August 30 to September 5, Japan will observe Disaster Preparedness Week! This year, Sonic, Tails, Amy, and a host of characters from the IDW comics are featured on the poster promoting the event, organized by the Tokyo Fire Department.
The event aims to spread accurate knowledge and improve disaster prevention skills, especially in the event of a feared earthquake in the Tokyo metropolitan area, where simultaneous fires are expected.
If you live in Tokyo, be sure to participate in fire prevention and disaster drills throughout the week. If you spot a poster, the official Sonic Channel Twitter account encourages fans to take photos and share them!
