According to Game Informer, Naoto Oshima, who’s last work for the Sonic series was for Sonic Adventure, is making a comeback to design a new third villain for the game. This addition joins the already existing roster featuring Dr. Eggman and the long-awaited return of Fang the Sniper (also known as Nack the Weasel). Currently, it remains uncertain whether Sonic Team alone is developing the game or if Naoto Oshima’s own company, Arzest, is also involved.
The game currently has a release date of Fall 2023, retailing at $59.99. You can sign up to the game’s newsletter to receive a free, exclusive Amy Rose skin when the game releases!
