Insider Gaming has exclusively revealed details about a new upcoming Sonic spin-off mobile game titled “Sonic Toys Party”. Codenamed “Project Toys”, the game is set to release in the summer of 2024 on iOS and Android devices.
Initial leaks about the game surfaced thanks to insider @MbKKssTBhz5. Insider Gaming has since obtained exclusive gameplay footage, showcasing the game’s 32-player matches, obstacle courses, and boss battles.
According to Insider Gaming, in Sonic Toys Party players will control characters like Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Knuckles, and others through various challenges, including races, ring collecting, and endurance trials. Gold rings play a crucial role in unlocking customization options such as costumes, emojis, dances, and emotes.
It’s still unclear when the game will be officially announced. However, according to the original leak, other Sega IP collaborations including Persona are also planned, and the title has been in development for two years with the goal of creating a free-to-play Sonic mobile live service game for a global audience.
