Sonic Speed Café, is going to have a grand opening celebration from July 19th, to July 23rd to kick off this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with guest appearances, Sonic games, giveaways and great food!
Here’s the full schedule:
July 19th: GRAND OPENING
- 11AM: Ribbon Cutting with a Sonic the Hedgehog mascot
- 11AM: Sonic Toy Factory Plush giveaway for first 50 customers
- Daily drawing at noon, 5PM and 8PM
July 20th
- 11AM: Sonic Zen Monkey Collectible Pin Giveawys for first 50 customers
- Noon to 2PM: Sonic the Hedgehog mascot photo opportunity
- 3 to 4PM: Takashi Iizuka Sonic signing
- Daily drawing at noon, 5PM and 8PM
July 21st
- 11 AM: 4″ figures by JAKKS Pacific giveaway for first 50 customers
- Noon to 2PM: Sonic the Hedgehog mascot photo opportunity
- 3 to 4PM: Takashi Iizuka Sonic signing
- Daily drawing at noon, 5PM and 8PM
July 22nd
- IDW Sonic Comic or BioWorld lanyard giveaway for first 50 customers
- Noon to 2PM: Sonic the Hedgehog mascot photo opportunity
- 2 to 3PM: Meet and Greet with Sonic IDW illustrator, Evan Stanely
- Daily drawing at noon, 5PM and 8PM
July 23rd
- 11AM 2.5″ JAKKS Pacific figures giveaway to first 50 customers
- Noon to 2PM: Noon to 2PM: Sonic the Hedgehog mascot photo opportunity
- Daily drawing at noon, 5PM and 8PM
The pop-up restaurant will remain open until August 20th, so even if you miss out on the events, you can still go in to eat a chili dog or two!
