A new chapter of SEGA’s official audio adventure series has arrived with the release of Sonic Presents: The Chaotix Casefiles Episode 6, titled The Case of the Solitary Sage Siege.
In this episode, the Chaotix finally uncover a major lead in their investigation and trace it directly to Doctor Eggman’s secret base. Their breakthrough quickly escalates into confrontation when they are greeted by Eggman’s AI daughter, Sage, whose reception is anything but welcoming.
The story follows the Chaotix Detective Agency as they push deeper into the mystery surrounding Eggman’s operations. After navigating the defenses guarding the base, the team encounters Sage, whose behavior appears unexpectedly cooperative at first, raising questions about her true motives.
Episode 6 features the following voice cast:
- Mike Pollock as Dr. Eggman
- Roger Craig Smith as Sonic the Hedgehog
- Keith Silverstein as Vector the Crocodile
- Matthew Mercer as Espio the Chameleon
- Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Charmy Bee
- Ryan Bartley as Sage
- Karen Strassman as Rouge the Bat
The episode is written by Dan Jolley and directed by Ian Jones-Quartey. Executive producers for SEGA include Takashi Iizuka and Ryan Hamlyn, with Chris Hernandez serving as producer. The podcast is produced in partnership with Realm, with Molly Barton and Fred Greenhalgh also serving as executive producers.
Music for the episode is composed by Charlie Rosen using themes from SEGA, while sound design and mixing are handled by Daniel Brunelle with additional work from Chad Chenail. Production also includes musical contributions from Jun Senoue, Tomoya Ohtani, and the SEGA Sound Team.
