SEGA has announced that its special collaboration with AirAsia is taking to new heights—literally. The Sonic the Hedgehog-themed AirAsia jet has received a complete interior redesign, now featuring themes from Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Sonic Rumble.
The redesigned Airbus A330, operated by AirAsia X (flight code D7), now sports vibrant visuals throughout the cabin, showcasing Sonic and his friends across the seats, walls, and panels. Passengers are greeted with an immersive Sonic atmosphere the moment they step onboard.

To celebrate, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds players can also earn a special limited-time AirAsia sticker inspired by the collaboration. The sticker can be used to customize vehicles in-game, letting fans race with AirAsia’s signature flair across the unpredictable, ever-changing CrossWorlds.

The news follows Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ continued success since launch, with the game maintaining an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam and a Metacritic user score above 9.0 (as of October 14, 2025).
