SEGA has revealed a new range of SONIC & FRIENDS bath bombs from Japanese manufacturer Santan, each hiding one of four miniature mascots showing the characters enjoying a relaxing bath. They’re arriving in Japan this November for ¥638 each (tax included), with the character inside chosen at random.
Each bath bomb measures approximately 5.5 cm in diameter and contains a white, soap-scented bath additive that gradually dissolves in the water. Once it’s gone, you’ll be left with a little SONIC & FRIENDS mascot measuring around 30 mm, although the exact size varies by character.
SEGA lists Kiddy Land, Village Vanguard and Aeon among the Japanese retailers carrying the bath bombs, alongside drugstore chains Sugi Pharmacy, Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Daikoku Drug.
They’re also available through the Santan Official Store, which sells individual bath bombs for ¥638 and currently lists an estimated dispatch time of within seven business days.
With four different mascots to collect and no way of knowing which one you’re getting, completing the little bath-time lineup might take a few attempts.
