Six new SONIC & FRIENDS × Sanrio Characters mini plush toys began arriving in Japanese arcades on October 23! SEGA has released the collection in two sets of three, with Sonic and his friends dressed in Sanrio costumes and lying down instead of sitting upright.
Volume 1 features Sonic, Tails and Dr. Eggman, while Volume 2 brings Shadow, Knuckles and Amy. Both sets measure approximately 10 × 16 × 12 cm, with SEGA calling the collection nesoberi mini plush, referring to their lying-down pose.

These are crane-game prizes rather than regular retail plush toys, so there’s no fixed shop price. The October 23 date marks the beginning of their rollout across participating Japanese amusement facilities, and stock will vary depending on the location.
Collectors can use SEGA Plaza’s official prize location finder to search for participating arcades and online crane-game services. It’s best to check with the venue before making the trip, particularly if you’re after a specific character.
Sonic City previously covered the collaboration’s fuzzy figures and additional character mascots back in June. These lying-down plush toys are another addition to the expanding crossover merchandise range.
