Sonic Channel is looking back at Amy’s first big adventure for its September 2026 release commemorative illustration.

The official Japanese Sonic account has shared a new piece of artwork celebrating Sonic CD, which had just marked its 33rd anniversary on September 23rd, with Amy taking center stage.

The artwork shows Amy in her original Sonic CD-era outfit, complete with the green top and orange skirt, holding her hands out toward one of the mysterious Time Stones as it floats in front of her.

Sonic Channel’s accompanying message reads:

We’re revealing the September 2026 release commemorative illustration 🎨

Amy appears from Sonic CD, which celebrated its 33rd anniversary yesterday 🩷

Amy’s very first big adventure!
With the mysterious power of the “Time Stones,”
it becomes a grand spectacle spanning the past and future! 🕰️

She had some scary experiences too… but surely there were some wonderful encounters along the way ✨

Sonic CD sent Sonic across different versions of Little Planet’s zones by travelling between the past, present and future, with the seven Time Stones playing a central role in securing the game’s best ending.

It also introduced Amy to the game series, placing her at the center of a story that sees her captured by Metal Sonic before Sonic races his robotic rival at Stardust Speedway.

The new artwork focuses on the more innocent side of that adventure, with Amy admiring one of the very objects tied to the game’s time-travel mechanic rather than revisiting the danger surrounding her capture.

It follows August’s Sonic Mania commemorative illustration, which turned the game’s famous “& Knuckles” joke into a new piece of anniversary artwork nine years after release.
