At dusk under pouring rain,
at a ticket gate in a station
along the ROUTE99 line.
Dressed in brightly colored rain gear,
Cream and Cheese stand there with an umbrella,
waiting to welcome someone dear to them.
On the walk home as the rain grows heavier,
the cheerful sound of raindrops,
large and small, pattering off them
fills the air as the three share
a happy moment together.

This month’s SONIC PICT is an illustration of Cream & Cheese arriving at the station on a rainy day to pick someone up.
The sight of Cream’s small umbrella for herself alongside the larger umbrella for an adult is heartwarming, and the cuteness of her vividly colored raincoat is wonderful too.
As for the location, it seems to be a station somewhere along the train line running near ROUTE99… one of those townscapes seen in the game’s background. Walking around town on a rainy day can be fun, but I hope the three family members make it home safely without getting their ears wet.
A lovely rainy-day outing in charming rain gear. Maybe having the peace of mind to enjoy the rainy season like this is a good thing too.
